Jellyfish Sanctuary

Jellyfish Sanctuary in SiargaoThe lagoon in the southeast of the Philippines, which is roughly a 2.5-hour boat ride from Siargao island, is one of the few locations on Earth where "stingless" jellyfish may be found. The jellyfish is magical on its own. Its tentacles won't sting you while you hold them. This was referred to as stingless jellyfish.  Additionally, it is a portion of Bucas Grande, one of the 48 islands that make up the Siargao Islands group.

How to get there

The only way to get to this location is by kayaking so that the jellyfish that are prospering there won't be disturbed by the noise of the boat's engine and won't be destroyed by the propeller.

Best time to visit

Visit during the summer months of Siargao, from March to May.
