Sit back, relax, and enjoy the unique vibrant hues that the Red Rock Hot Spring has to offer.

There many convenient ways to get to the Red Rock Hot Spring. As it is located in Valencia, it would take approximately half an hour to reach Valencia from Dumaguete City. As the hot spring is a known tourist destination in the area, local tricycles can take you there for a fair price. There are also other ways of transportation such as renting motorcycles or scooters for certain fees.

What to See

The rusty color of the rocks were formed due to oxidation, allowing a reddish landscape of the waterfalls. Oxidation occurs when minerals such as iron are exposed to oxygen and water. However, there is nothing to worry about the safety of the waters. Anyone can freely soak and relax on the warm waters of the hot spring as the water temperature usually ranges from 37.5 to 39.5 degrees Celsius.

This makes the hot spring a go-to for people who wish to relax their aching muscles aside from the unique appearance and color of the rocks. In fact, the hot spring also claims to have provided relief for various health concerns such as asthma and arthritis.

There are also many man-made pools in the area with spring waters that produce natural heat. The waters come directly from the mountains so you can expect that they are sourced from nature streams and provide the ultimate relaxation to unwind and enjoy the natural spring waters.

The entrance fee is for Php 60 while gazebos and picnic huts can be rented for specific fees depending on the size. The rates are budget-friendly while the experience is definitely worth the price.
