Information about Tappan Park
Tappan Park
Tappan Park is a nature park located in Olongapo City. The construction of old Olongapo followed the basic Spanish design pattern, with a central plaza surrounded by civic and educational facilities. At that time, the Olongapo plaza was situated in what is now the Subic Bay Freeport Zone's Tappan Park, which was eventually named in honor of Captain Benjamin Tappan, the US Navy Yard's Commandant, from 1914 to 1915.
Visitors of the park can choose to spend a quiet day lounging on a blanket in a grassy field near some natural beauty, or they can choose to eat at a picnic table in a more crowded location with access to other park services.
How to get there
