Uyugan
Uyugan is a municipality in the Philippine province of Batanes and has a population of 1,297 people as of the 2015 census. The population of Uyugan has remained relatively stable since it was founded as a separate township on May 20, 1909. Its population is about a tenth of that of Batanes.
The town proper, or Uyugan Centro, contains the barangays of Kayuganan and Kayvaluganan. The other half of the population resides in Itbud and Imnajbu. The four barangays or municipal districts of Uyugan are located along the coasts and brooks. Each barangay has a main street that serves as the hub of its socioeconomic existence.

If you’re coming from Basco town proper, Uyugan can be reached by tricycle. You can also join guided tours that include this destination.
