Description

Discover the iconic gems of Puerto Princesa, Palawan in the comforts of an air-conditioned van with this half-day sightseeing tour. This shared tour is an excellent opportunity for those who have a tight schedule but wish to see the best sites of Puerto Princesa, including the Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center and Mitra’s Ranch in just half a day. It comes with the assistance of a tour guide, snacks, entrance fees, insurance, and pick-up and drop-off from and to your accommodations in Puerto Princesa.

You will be picked up at your hotel at either 7 in the morning or 1 in the afternoon, depending on your preferred schedule. From there, you will be taken to Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center. This facility houses several endangered species, including crocodiles and other animals, such as birds, snakes, porcupines, and wild boars. Stroll around and take a few photos with the animals here. Afterward, you may opt to go to the Butterfly Garden and Tribal Village next for some butterfly viewing.

Afterward, you will head to Mitra’s Ranch. Perched atop a hill, this ranch provides its visitors with a breathtaking view of the city and the neighboring islands. Activities like horseback riding, zip lining, and walking on a hanging bridge are also offered here.

The next attraction in your itinerary is Baker’s Hill. The place used to be a small bakery selling delicious goodies but has now expanded into a park. After exploring Baker’s Hill, you can opt to visit the Binuatan Creations next before proceeding to the Immaculate Conception Cathedral. Binatuan Creations is where locals make their handwoven products using abaca, tikog, and grass.

Just across the cathedral is Plaza Cuartel, a small park that once served as a fort for American and Filipino soldiers until the Japanese occupation. Take travel photos here before you cap off your tour at the Baywalk to enjoy the seascape. You can then drop by some souvenir shops and purchase some gifts before making your way back to your hotel or resort in Puerto Princesa.
