Description

Get close to fish, turtles, and other marine life with this snorkeling activity in Moalboal. This experience is perfect for travelers who want to get close to Cebu's marine life as it will allow you to witness the famed sardine run. It comes with roundtrip boat transfers and complimentary use of snorkeling gear as well.

The activity can start as early as 6 AM, so just travel to the Kawasan Canyoneering Headquarters in Badian when you're ready. There, the staff will be waiting for you to accompany you to the registration area. Once you have registered, you will be led to your designated boat for the activity. Since the tourism fee is not part of the inclusions of this tour, it is recommended to pay it in advance.

The boat will take you to a snorkeling and swimming spot off the shores of Moalboal, where you can get an unobstructed view of the world-famous sardine run. The phenomenon happens year-round, so you don't need much luck to witness millions of sardines swim together for a breathtaking sight. After watching the sardines form a wall of silver underwater, you will head to your next stop: Turtle Bay.

Here, you can snorkel to watch sea turtles gently swim in their natural habitat. Make sure to keep a safe distance from them as well to avoid disturbing and hurting them. You can also bring a waterproof camera to capture your time with these gentle sea creatures. As you glance through the waters, you may also spot various schools of fish that call the coral reefs home. After your snorkeling session, you will hop back in the boat to return to the Kawasan Canyoneering Headquarters.

Watch thousands of sardines swim together and witness sea turtles glide through the waters of Moalboal, Cebu by booking this snorkeling activity. Check the availability by choosing a date.
