Plaza San Luis

Plaza San Luis is a complex inside Intramuros that comprises five houses: Casa Manila, Casa Blanca, Casa Urdaneta, Los Hidalgos, and El Hogar Filipino.The complex was constructed after World War II as an effort to preserve the history of the Spanish era in the Philippines. 

Today, each house features unique designs that represent different eras of Filipino-Spanish architecture. Along with the houses' exterior, you will also find artifacts and displays here that depict the lifestyles of Ilustrados, or educated Filipinos, during the late 19th century. Aside from the five houses, the complex also features heritage restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy a meal while admiring the area's architecture. 

Best time to visit

Travelers can visit Plaza San Luis all year round. It is open every day from 8AM to 9PM and admission is free.
