Concepcion Falls, located 40 kilometers from Coron Town, is around 3 to 4 meters tall. The plunge pool or waterfall lake is about 10 meters in diameter and only about 2 feet deep. About 7 feet deep water may be seen at the waterfalls' base.
Once you reach the waterfall, keep an eye on the water level (especially during monsoon season) and if the water level rises even slightly, get out of the water and away from the pond. The volume of the falls increases rapidly as the water flows in from the surrounding mountains. Better have someone outside to monitor the levels.
