Malbog Sulfur Spring is a natural hot spring located at the base of Mount Malindig. It is a stratovolcano near the municipality of Buenavista, rising 1,157 meters above sea level.
Malbog Sulfur Spring is nestled among lush vegetation and luscious flora and animals. Its warm, bluish-white sulfuric water is thought to have medicinal and restorative properties. The spring features two swimming pools, both of which have therapeutic characteristics that may be used to treat skin ailments.
The stream flows directly from the mountain and flows into a spring pool where guests may cool themselves. Its water is safe to drink and is said to heal both acute and chronic skin diseases. Some visitors even carry water bottles.
How to get there
First, you’ll have to take a flight or ride a ferry going to Marinduque. Then, you can get to Brgy. Malbog Buenavista in Marinduque by taking a local jeepney from Gasan to Buenavista.
Best time to visit
The hot spring is open to visitors from 6 AM to 5 PM daily.
