Amazing 2-Week Heritage & Scenic Tour to llocos, Mt. Pinatubo, Baguio, Sagada & Bohol Package

After your breakfast and checkout at your hotel in Manila, a driver will fetch you and take you back to the airport for your flight to Laoag in Ilocos Norte. Following your trip to Laoag, another driver will meet you at the local airport and take you to your assigned hotel in Laoag. After settling in your new room, you’ll have the remainder of the day to spend however you like. 

If you’re curious about the local cuisine, you can check out nearby restaurants such as La Preciosa and Saramsam Ylocano. Along with tasting beloved Filipino dishes like pinakbet and bagnet, we recommend trying an Ilocos empanada. 
 

The next day, you’ll go on a heritage tour in Laoag, which begins with a visit to St. William's Cathedral and the Sinking Bell Tower. Then, you'll explore Aurora Park, home of the Tobacco Monopoly Monument. Next, you'll tour the Malacañang of the North and then head to Paoay Church with its distinctive architecture. 

The tour continues to the Ilocos Sand Dunes, including the option for an add-on 4x4 ride adventure. You'll also explore the Batac Museum, known as the Marcos Museum. You’ll then wrap up the day with a visit to the Batac Emapanadahan, where you can buy mouthwatering empanadas.
 

After breakfast, you’ll check out of your Laoag hotel and make your way to Vigan in Ilocos Sur via a land transfer. Upon arriving in Vigan, you’ll be brought to your new accommodation so you can get settled and freshen up before your scheduled heritage and sightseeing tour. 

The first stop on this guided excursion is Bantay Church, one of Vigan's oldest churches, which also houses a bell tower. Afterward, you'll visit the Archbishop's Palace and St. Paul Cathedral, two more significant religious landmarks in the area. 

Following your time there, you’ll take a leisurely stroll along the popular cobblestone street known as Calle Crisologo. Admire the Spanish-era mansions lining the street before heading to the Crisologo Museum. Your tour will then conclude with visits to several other attractions, including the Ilocos Regional Complex, Pagburnayan Jar Factory, the Baluarte Zoo, and Cristy's Loomweaving. 
 

On day 5, you’ll leave your Vigan hotel and take another land transfer to reach Sagada. When you’ve checked in at your new accommodation, you’ll have the whole day to yourself. We recommend heading out and walking along the main road to visit some of the best cafés and restaurants in the area for your first day here. 

If you’re craving a warm cup of coffee, check out cafés like Bana’s Coffee and Sagada Brew. You can also drop by the Yoghurt House for healthy and delicious desserts as well as savory dishes. The Log Cabin is also a crowd favorite in the area.

Today, you’ll go on a private tour of Sagada’s best cultural and natural attractions. The adventure starts at Sagada’s town center, where you’ll learn about nearby heritage sites. Then, you’ll head to Sumaguing Cave, which is best known of the remarkable natural rock formations within its caverns. Your trip continues with a visit to the Saint Mary Episcopal Church, built by American missionaries in the early 1900s, introducing Christianity to Sagada. 

From there, you’ll walk to the Hanging Coffins site, where locals hang their departed loved ones' coffins along the sides of mountain cliffs as part of their local tradition. The day’s adventure then ends with a stop at a flowing river and a natural swimming pool.
 

As you reach the midpoint of your 14-day adventure, you’ll depart for Baguio City. Once you settle in your new hotel, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the city at your own pace. Feel free to visit nearby parks and local restaurants. 

If you don’t mind staying up late, you can also drop by the Baguio Night Market, which starts at 9 PM and ends at 2 AM every day. You’ll find this popular shopping spot along a portion of Harrison Road. Apart from finding good deals for clothes and accessories, you can also drop by the nearby food market to feast on local street food. 
 

For day 8, you’ll go on a day tour to some of the best spots in and around Baguio City. Your day’s adventure begins with a visit to the Baguio Botanical Garden and The Mansion. Then, you’ll drop by Mines View Park, where you can enjoy a scenic view. You can also visit nearby shops that sell various snacks and trinkets. 

From there, you’ll head to Ibay's Silver Shop, where you can buy silver jewelry and accessories. Afterward, you’ll drop by the Baguio Museum, housed in an Ifugao-inspired building, to look at tribal artifacts. 

You’ll also stroll through Burnham Park. Here, you can also try other activities, such as renting a rowboat and enjoying time on the lake. The tour also includes stops at Tam-Awan Village, the Easter Weaving Room, the Diplomat Heritage Hotel, and the Kennon Road View Deck.
 

On day 9, you’ll check out of your hotel in Baguio and start heading back to Manila for the next part of your trip. As you make your way down from the highlands, you’ll spend a night in Clark, Pampanga. This area is a former U.S. military base and now features various businesses, including outlet shops where you can score good deals. 

Another notable structure in Clark is the Clark International Airport, which is another main gateway to the Philippines. You can also check out local restaurants like Binulo, which is popular for its sisig, kare-kare, and lechon kawali. Along with Filipino dishes, the restaurant also serves American cuisine, like porterhouse steaks. 
 

The following morning, you’ll leave Clark and head to Mt. Pinatubo for a guided hiking tour. During the excursion, you’ll also pass by a famous group of hills in the area that resemble the Toblerone brand of chocolate. After passing the hills, you’ll continue the ascent to the crater lake, which is one of the most picturesque lakes in the Philippines. 

After your hike to the top of Mt. Pinatubo, you’ll take another land transfer back to Manila. In Manila, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel so you can spend a night before your flight to Bohol the next day. 
 

Today, you’ll board your flight to Bohol for the last leg of your Philippine vacation. Upon arrival in Bohol, you'll check in at your assigned hotel. Afterward, you’ll have the rest of the day to yourself. Bohol is popular for its natural attractions, which include the iconic Chocolate Hills, Loboc River, and Alona Beach. 

Apart from its top tourist spots, the province also features a handful of restaurants where you can enjoy a relaxing afternoon. You can also spend a part of the day unwinding at the hotel and resting up since you’ll be going on tours in the next two days. 
 

On the 12th day of this trip, you’ll go on a tour around Bohol’s charming countryside. First, you'll visit Baclayon Church, a National Cultural Treasure, and National Historical Landmark. Next, you’ll head to the Corella Tarsier Sanctuary before enjoying a delicious lunch on a leisurely cruise along the Loboc River. Following the river tour, you’ll explore the picturesque Bilar Man-Made Forest, a 2-kilometer stretch framed by tall mahogany trees.

You’ll then wrap up your day with a stop at the Chocolate Hills viewing deck, where you can enjoy an unobstructed view of this popular landmark. These hills are typically green in the rainy season but turn chocolate-brown in the dry season, hence the name. Before the tour ends, you'll have a chance to shop at Aproniana Souvenir Shop as well. 
 

Your day starts at around 6 AM for your island-hopping tour. The first activity is dolphin watching as you head towards Balicasag Island. While the dolphins are known to frequent the area, there’s still no guarantee of spotting them. 

Following this, you’ll head to Balicasag Island, a popular snorkeling and diving destination. Enjoy a dip in the azure waters or stroll along its pristine white sand beach. 

You’ll then end the day with a visit to Virgin Island, known for its exquisite white sandbar. Explore the island, take a refreshing dip in its crystal-clear waters, and keep an eye out for starfish, depending on the season. 
 

On the last day of this Philippines itinerary for 2 weeks, you’ll check out of your Bohol hotel after breakfast. When you’re ready to go, a driver will arrive to take you to the Bohol-Panglao International Airport for your return flight to Manila.
