Discover why Batanes tops the bucket list of many Filipinos with this full-day private trip around South Batan’s iconic landmarks. From rolling panoramas to historical architecture, this guided tour appeals to visitors of all ages who wish to see the best of Batan Island in a single day.

After picking you up from your hotel, your adventure will start with a visit to the Chawa View Deck to see the West Philippine Sea up close. The site has a roadside stairwell leading to the shores. From there, enjoy the scenic drive towards Mahatao town, where you will visit famous landmarks such as the Mahatao Old Church. You will also stop by the Spanish Lighthouse and Mahatao Tayid Lighthouse for some photo ops.

After posing in front of the lighthouses, you will make your way to the cinematic pastures of Racuh a Payaman, more commonly known as Marlboro Country. The sweeping hills are nothing short of spectacular especially with the view of the seascape as a backdrop. The drive continues on to the Alapad and LORAN Station Ruins, after which you will visit the Itbud Community and the town of Uyugan, which is home to the eerie Song Song Ruins. The ruins are the remains of an old barangay which was abandoned after a tsunami hit Batan Island during the 1950s. Nearby, you will also see the vernacular houses of the indigenous people residing in the area.

You will be driven back to Ivana to visit the Honesty Coffee Shop, a unique shop with no shopkeepers. Customers are expected to honestly pay for the things they bought by leaving it in a money box. After purchasing some souvenirs at the shop, you will continue to the San Jose Church and the House of Dakay, known as the oldest stone house in Batanes Island built in 1887. Your last stop on the way back to the hotel is the Old Spanish Bridge, which is made of lime mortar.
