Panglao Island Tours and Activities

We were picked up at the airport by a driver who took us to our resort solo. We were checked in the resort and taken to our beautiful quarters in a golf cart. The staff were well trained and very accommodating. We could tell they were to look after your every need The food was good, the salt water pool was great. The beach was well looked after but not much of a swimming area. The resort had its own island you could walk out to at low tide. We saw a wedding there. We had booked two tours. On the first, we were picked up in a beautiful car and great driver. We were solo again, and were driven to the many sites on the tour. We saw very old church and historical sites. We travelled most of the day seeing a mahogany forest, and then the protected area where the smallest monkeys lived. For lunch we went on a cruise boat on a river and ate a Philipino lunch while watching entertainment along the way. It was very unique.. after lunch we visited the enchanted gardens and saw constrictor snakes, which we handled, and interesting flying rodents, butterflies and different species of plants. After that we drove to the Chocolate hills. Our driver was amazing with his knowledge and friendly ways. We tipped him well on returning to our resort. The second tour was island hoping in an outrigger boat. We saw porpoises swimming alongside our boat, which was neat! We stopped at an island and were outfitted with mask and snorkelling gear. The fish were beautiful. After an hour we were served a delicious traditional meal before we left and were taken back. The driver picked us up again and took us back to the resort. It was a great tour. Al in all .our whole trip was amazing. We would do it all again!

We were very happy with this trip from the start when booking with agent. The resort, food and staff were outstanding. Relaxed atmosphere at resort swimming in one of the many pools or snorkelling around the resort islet. We enjoyed the day tour to Bohol countryside and chocolate hills.

The dive center was my favorite experience of my Bohol trip and one of the highlights of my 3 months in the Philippines. It was my first time scuba diving and the instructor was so patient, genuine, and knowledgeable. Everyone at the dive center just had a genuine enthusiasm and love for scuba diving, the ocean, and marine life; they even have a coral rescue project. The experience inspired me to get my padi certification. I also chatted with the founders, a down to earth couple, who were so kind and offered to drive me back to my hotel so I didn't have to wait for the shuttle back. I still think about this experience to this day. Highly recommend Haka Dive Center!!

Overall, our Bohol trip was really amazing! Everything was well organised, and communicated. Accomodation (Modala Hotel), transport and tours guides were all terrific. Customer service is outstanding as well. I will definitely book again with GTTP in our future trips. Thank you GTTP team!
