The 3-4 hour trip to Villa Escudero was worth it! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The activities were great and filled our day. The grounds are well taken care of and there are many photo opportunities. The cultural show was beauiful! The lunch was delicious and the food choices brought back memories of my childhood. The pools were clean and were a perfect way to cool off from the humidity. The bamboo rafting was tiring, but so fun! The scenery is gorgeous! My only complaint would be that the service at the coffee bar was pretty slow. I went to the counter to order before the show and there wasn't much organization. I think it would have been better to flag down a server from my table. The staff was still friendly though. Make sure to give yourself enough time to arrive on time in the morning so that you can enjoy as much of the resort as you can. We got there a little late because of traffic and had to leave early to avoid traffic again. We would have liked to explore the resort some more!
