Description

Familiarize yourself with the history, traditions, culture, and language of the Cordillera region with this 4-session online class and virtual tour package. If you’re planning to visit the region soon, this package is perfect for you as it allows you to immerse yourself in everything Cordillera with 4 60-minute sessions that will help you plan your trip.

As the schedule is flexible, you can choose to have your 4 sessions once a day for 4 days in a row, every other day, or even once a week. After you have finalized your schedule, your instructor will send you the link to a Zoom meeting where your classes and virtual tour will be hosted.

Your first class will be an introduction to the Ilocano language. The language is spoken by around 11 million people in the Philippines, making it the third most spoken native language in the country. In this class, you’ll not only learn how to read basic Ilocano words and phrases, but your instructor will also teach you the correct way to speak them with an Ilocano accent.

In your 2nd class, you’ll learn about the history and traditions of the Cordillera region. Because the Cordilleras is a mountain range that is home to many diverse ethnic and indigenous people, its culture is very unique.

Let your mouth water in your 3rd class, which will focus on the cuisine of the Cordilleras. Of course, rice is a staple in the region, and you’ll see the dishes that the locals make or pair with rice.

You’ll end this package with a virtual tour. The Cordilleras is the highest and largest mass of mountains in the country, and your virtual tour guide will explore it with you. You’ll go on a virtual hike to the region’s tourist spots. After the virtual tour, you may ask your guide questions to help build your itinerary, like where to stay, what to do, and where to eat.

Get to know the culture and heritage of the Cordillera region with the hour-long sessions that come with this package. Check the availability by choosing a date.
