Go on a joyride to the iconic sites of Bohol with this private full-day tour. If you’re a visitor wanting to see the countryside of the province in just one day, then this escapade is the perfect match for you.
Your assigned driver will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the first stop — Blood Compact Site. The Blood Compact Site, also known as Sandugo Shrine, is the immortalization of Lopez de Legazpi and Sikatuna's moment of exchanging cups of wine with drops of their blood for diplomatic relations. Take a couple of photos and appreciate this historical moment before you go to Baclayon Church and museum. Here, you will discover the historical and cultural heritage of Bohol.
Another must-see site in Baclayon is the Vintage Car Park, which you could visit for a minimum fee. The park has over 40 cars in display, from muscle cars to post-war ones. Make sure to strike a pose by these beauties before you head over to the Python Sanctuary to get up close and personal with the local pythons in captivity. From there, you can opt to visit the Clarin Ancestral House for an extra charge. The house was the residence of one of Bohol’s former governors but it has been developed into a museum.
You will then be taken to the Loboc River, where a scrumptious lunch is waiting for you on one of its floating restaurants. Enjoy the sights as your cruise along the river while a folk performance is presented by the locals for your entertainment. After the cruise, you can choose to avail of the one-hour Stand-Up Paddle tour of the river and the zipline at the Loboc Eco-Tourism Adventure Park, both for an extra fee. You might also want to visit the Sipatan Twin Hanging Bridge, sitting close to the Loboc River, at only a minimal charge.
If you prefer to go on with the itinerary sans the optional stopovers, you will then proceed to the Bilar Man-made Forest for some quick photos before you head over to the Tarsier Conservation Area. Here, you can see the tiny creatures with beady and adorable eyes. Your guide will discuss the rules and regulations inside the complex. Make sure not to use flash cameras or make too much noise to avoid startling them.
You will also be visiting the Butterfly Garden before making your way to the heritage site — Chocolate Hills. Walk up to the viewpoint to see the iconic landscape of the Chocolate Hills. This geological formation of 1776 hills is one of the most popular tourist spots not only in Bohol but in the whole Philippines. You can also opt to try the bike zip at the Chocolate Hills Adventure Park or go on an ATV guided tour of the hills for an extra charge. Before heading back home, you will stop by Aproniana Gift Shop for some souvenir shopping.
