Pack your swimwear and underwater cameras as you hop aboard this tour of Coron, home to some of Palawan’s white sand beaches and iconic freshwater lakes. If you love indulging in water activities and enjoy reconnecting with nature, then this tour is a definite must-book.
If you are staying outside of the town proper of Coron, you will meet up with your tour guide at the Old Market; otherwise, you will be picked from your accommodation. Once you’re ready to go, you will make your way to the drop-off point, where a boat will be waiting for you to take you to Kayangan Lake. Famous for its stunning karst formations that are framed against turquoise blue waters, the lake is truly a magnificent sight to behold. Feel free to dip in the clear waters and enjoy diving deeper to see the local marine life. If you are feeling more adventurous, you can climb up to the deck to witness a gorgeous birds-eye view of the lush forest surrounding Kayangan Lake.
Don’t change out of your swimsuit just yet as you’ll need it on your next stop at the Twin Lagoon, a pair of gorgeous blue lagoons separated by a strip of jagged karst walls in the middle. You will be given enough time to explore the area and take a quick swim. For a small additional fee, you can also visit another famous attraction nearby, the Barracuda Lake. The lake is popular among divers for its dramatic temperature shifts. From there, you will be driven to the Twin Peak, another snorkeling hotspot in Coron.
Afterward, you will explore more underwater sceneries at either the Malwawey Reef or the sunken Japanese warship, the Skeleton Wreck. This will be followed by a stopover at the Coron Youth Club (CYC) white sand beach. To cap off your tour, you will head to the White Sand Beach lunch area, where a sumptuous picnic lunch will be waiting for you. Enjoy a few more hours of swimming and sunbathing before you head home.
