Sail across the waters of Cebu and discover its vibrant marine life on this island hopping tour that takes you to the Hilutungan Marine Sanctuary and two of the islands in the Olango Group of Islands. If you’re an outdoor enthusiast and want to see the thriving underwater ecosystem that the area is known for, then this shared trip is just what you need.
This excursion starts when you are picked up from your hotel in Cebu City, Mandaue, or Mactan early in the morning. You will then be driven to Mactan Wharf, where you will board a boat that will take you to your first destination, Hilutungan Island Marine Sanctuary. Hilutungan, also referred to as Gilotungan, boasts of clear aquamarine waters that host a variety of fish, coral reefs, and other marine creatures.
Don your mask and explore the beauty deep underwater upon arriving here. If you’re new to snorkeling, your tour guide will assist you until you feel comfortable enough to go on your own. Make sure to put on your life jacket, too.
From Hilutungan Island Marine Sanctuary, you will then check out the manmade marine sanctuary in Nalusuan Island. Like the first island, it's also rich in marine life. You can swim and snorkel, or simply take a stroll around the small island.
Afterwards, you will sail to the nearby Caohagan Island that’s home to yet another marine sanctuary. Laze around on the island’s sandbar or take pictures of the vicinity while enjoying your barbecue lunch picnic by the sea. Spend the rest of the afternoon lounging by the beach before you sail back to the mainland.
Hop on this joiner tour and spend the whole day appreciating the richness of marine life in the islands of Hilutungan, Nalusuan, and Caohagan. Check availability by choosing a date.
