Discover the attractions of Tagbilaran City on this half-day private tour. This tour takes you to iconic sites that showcase the rich history and culture of the city. Enjoy the convenience of an airconditioned vehicle to visit the Garcia Heritage House, Roca-Suarez Ancestral House, St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Rizal Plaza, National Museum Bohol, Provincial Capitol, and BQ Mall. This tour package is perfect for anyone who wants to go sightseeing in Bohol’s capital city.

Your tour begins once you are picked up at your accommodation. Your first stop is the Carlos P. Garcia Heritage House. The museum is the ancestral house of the late President Carlos P. Garcia. Interestingly, the locals call the museum the White House because of its color. Inside, you will see the memorabilia, paintings, and antique furniture that belong to the Garcia family.

Another centuries-old house in your itinerary is the Rocha-Suarez Ancestral House. It is one of the remaining Spanish period houses in the city. Casa Rocha-Suarez was built in the early nineteenth century by Julian Rocha. Check out the extensive collection of imported eighteenth and nineteenth-century style furniture, ceramics, and religious artifacts.

From there, you will head to St. Joseph’s Cathedral. The church boasts a neo-romanesque façade, baroque side altars, and a neoclassical-themed main altar. Admire the church’s beautifully painted ceiling with ornate gold decorations that depict Old Testament times. You can offer a prayer or donation before heading to your next stop.

You will now make your way to Rizal Plaza. Take this chance to relax under the trees, and observe the locals, and immerse in their vibrant culture. Not far from Rizal Park, is the National Museum Bohol. Head inside the National Musem and prepare to be fascinated by the exhibits. Check out the dioramas and rocks that tell the geological history of Bohol. You will also see ancient artifacts like skulls, burial jars, coffins, and even skeletal remains.

A few minutes away from the museum is the Provincial Capitol where you can stop to take photos. Your tour will conclude with a visit to BQ (Bohol Quality) Mall. You will be provided with snacks at Gerarda’s Restaurant inside the mall. If you want to get a lunch meal instead, you can pay an additional fee.

Come along on this sightseeing tour through Tagbilaran City and experience the best the City of Peace and Friendship has to offer. Check the availability by choosing a date.
