Discover all the adventures you can experience in the Philippines
Get introduced to the iconic attractions of Siargao Island and discover what more it can offer aside from surfing. From the Sugba Lagoon to the Maasin River, this jam-packed full-day tour will bring you to four of the island province’s popular destinations. If you’re a non-surfer finding a way to make the most out of your time in Siargao, then this is the relaxing way to go.
From your accommodation, you will head to the port, where an assigned pump boat is waiting for you. The boat will then take you to your first destination, Caob Island, the home of Sugba Lagoon. With its crystalline turquoise water and quiet atmosphere, the lagoon makes for a perfect tropical destination. You will find a diving board in the area where you can freely jump to experience the coolness of the waters below. If you’re not a fan of extreme activities, you can rent out bamboo rafts, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards on the site and leisurely paddle around.
From there, you will make your way to Magpupungko Tidal Pool, located on the east shore of Siargao. This is another best spot for swimming and cliff jumping. Enjoy the place before the high tide sets in as the natural pool disappears once the tides rise. There are also plenty of small restaurants nearby, where you can try the local dishes.
From the east coast, you will travel to Maasin Coconut Forest. This secluded spot is perfect for breathing in the fresh air and indulging in the greenery of the surrounding. After having your fill of the lush forest, you will be on your way to Maasin River for sightseeing and more photo-ops where you can try the tree rope swing or ride a bamboo raft. Afterward, you will be taken to a souvenir shop before heading back to your accommodation.
