Description

Learn about and virtually explore the Bicol Region with this online class and virtual tour package. This package is perfect for those who want to visit Bicol in the future and want an overview of what to expect on their trip. It includes 4 60-minute sessions that include classes on the Bicolano language, Bicolano traditions and history, and Bicol Cuisine, as well as a virtual tour of some of the region’s tourist attractions. All sessions will be facilitated by experts on Bicolano culture.

The schedule of this package is flexible, so you can plan them according to your routine. You can participate in one session once a day for 4 days, every other day, or even once a week. After deciding on a schedule, your teacher or tour guide will send you a link to a Zoom Meeting where your sessions will be hosted.

The topic of your first class is the Bicolano language. This introductory class will teach you basic Bicolano words and phrases. At the end of the session, you should be able to introduce yourself and ask simple questions in Bicolano.

Your second session will focus on Bicolano history and traditions. The Bicol region is composed of Albay, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Masbate, and Sorsogon, and this class will teach you about the values these provinces are known for, as well as their stories.

In your 3rd class, you’ll learn about the Bicolano Cuisine. Bicol is known for some of the most delicious dishes in the country, including the spicy Bicol Express and the sweet dessert, Bukayo.

Your last session will be a virtual tour that will bring you to some of the top tourist spots in Bicol. Let your virtual tour guide show you the region’s hot springs, dive spots, whale shark watching areas, and, of course, the perfect cone that is Mayon Volcano.

Immerse yourself into Bicolano culture and embark on a virtual tour of the region when you book this package. Check the availability by choosing a date.
