Get introduced to the mountainous Bunget on this two-town combo sightseeing tour of Tublay and La Trinidad. Taking you on natural attractions and iconic landmarks, this tour is the best way to discover what beauty lies within the southern tip of the Cordillera Administrative Region.
The tour will kick off with a transfer service from your accommodation to Tublay, Benguet for your first stop. Once you arrive at the town, you will be dropped off at Winaka Eco-Cultural Village. This 42-hectare land offers loads of enjoyable activities such as zip line, wall climbing, mudslide, and Eco walk, to name a few. There is also a restaurant inside the property, the Green House Café and Restaurant, that serves an authentic Igorot dish called “etag” and other delectable Filipino cuisines.
From Tublay, you will head next to La Trinidad, Benguet for a farm experience in the Lily of the Valley Organic Farm. Here, you will see different fruits and vegetables like green and purple cabbage, New Zealand spinach, broccoli, lettuce, and tomatoes, among other crops. The farm also has a quaint coffee shop inside where you can get organic snacks and drinks while touring the vicinity.
Aside from the farm, you will also visit the BSU Food Processing Center, located some four kilometers away from the organic farm. The center is one of the projects of Benguet State University. Here, the vegetables are processed into ready-to-cook packs, chips, and starch.
Following this, you will make your way to the Strawberry Farm to pick fresh strawberries that you can take home as souvenirs. You will then end your tour with a stopover at StoBoSa and Bell Tower. The StoBoSa is an enormous mural of colorful sunflowers, inspired by Brazil’s Favela Paintings and made up of row upon rows of houses that stand along the hills. Meanwhile, the Bell Tower or Bell Church is a Chinese temple in La Trinidad just near the StoBoSa houses. Before heading home, you will be served lunch at a local restaurant.
