Book this 3-day PADI Palawan diving package in El Nido, and learn the guidelines and skills needed to dive in open water. This El Nido PADI course package includes the guidance of a divemaster, a theory lesson, six dives, and the use of a tank and a weight belt. Divers will also get to choose their dive spots, as long as the weather allows it. Note that the Eco-Tourism Development Fund is excluded from this El Nido activities package.

To start your course, meet your instructor at Turtle Divers in El Nido at 8 AM. You may also choose to begin your course at 1 PM, but make sure to coordinate this in advance with your tour operator.

Before you start going into the water, you first need to know the basics of open water diving. In your class with a divemaster, you’ll discuss five chapters to help you become more knowledgeable about diving in open water. Listen carefully as there will be a knowledge review after the discussion of each chapter. Remember that you will also be quizzed on what your divemaster has taught you in class on your last day. Don’t forget to fit your diving gear for your dives tomorrow.

You’ll go into the waters of El Nido on days 2 and 3. You’ll do two types of dives: confined water training dives and open water dives. In confined water training dives, you’ll learn to dive in the shallow parts of the sea to ensure your safety while you learn to move underwater. In open water dives, you’ll reach depths of up to 18 meters.

For these dives, you can choose from eight diving sites: South Miniloc, Twin Rocks, West Entalula, Pagluguban Dive Site, Popolcan Island, Helicopter Reef, Nat Nat Beach, and Address Reef. While you may choose among these dive sites, keep in mind that some sites may not be an option for you during certain types of weather.

You’ll have your final exam on day 3, and the divemaster will assess if you’ve gained enough knowledge and acquired enough skills and diving experience to continue open water diving without assistance.

Learn how to dive in open water when you book this scuba diving Philippines package in El Nido, Palawan. Check the availability by choosing a date.
