Top things to do in the Philippines
Discover all the adventures you can experience in the Philippines
Enjoy a first-class view of Boracay Island's breathtaking sunset while aboard a traditional paraw boat with this private tour. This activity is a perfect fit for travelers who love beautiful sceneries, as it will give you an unobstructed view of the sky when it turns into shades of orange. The tour also includes life vests and the service of a guide for your safety while you're out on the waters.
Paraws are local boats balanced on two outriggers and have large crab-claw sails that catch the sea breeze. While they are traditionally used by Boracay's fishermen, the paraws quickly became one of the island's top tourist activities over the years.
As the activity is heavily dependent on the weather, the starting point will likely change with the season. If you go on paraw sailing in the dry months of the Philippines, you will meet your guide and board your paraw at the beachfront of the Astoria Hotel along Station 1. On the other hand, you will have to join your guide at the Bolabog Watersports Station if you decide to go on the tour in the rainy season.
When riding a paraw, you will not be sitting inside the hull as you would usually do with most boats. Instead, you will sit down on its outriggers while letting your feet safely hang above the sea's surface. Bring out your cameras as you sail since there will be no trees or other obstructions to block your view of the sunset while you're out on the paraw. You can also ask your captain to take a brief stop during your cruise so you can have ample time to take photos with the sunset's warm red-orange tones.
See Boracay Island's sky turn deep shades of red, orange, and pink while out on the open sea with this private paraw sailing sunset tour. Check availability by choosing a date.
The operator may cancel the tour in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund. Note that being late by 15-30 minutes without any advice is considered a no-show. Tour cancellation requests must be made 48 hours before your scheduled tour subject to approval.
