Top things to do in the Philippines
Discover all the adventures you can experience in the Philippines
Wear your best beach outfit and join this escapade to one of Bacolod’s rising attractions — Manjuyod Sandbar. This private tour is perfect if you love the feel of sand between your toes and the sun kissing your skin.
Your driver will pick you up at your accommodation in Bacolod City and take you away to the municipality of Bais. The town serves as the main entrance to the precious Manjuyod Sandbar that it preserves and protects.
Once you arrive at the drop-off site, you will be transferred to a boat that will bring you to the sandbar, dubbed as the 'Maldives of the Philippines.' While it may not be equally luxurious, it is more than enough to be considered an ideal island destination.
Along the way to the sandbar, you will be passing through the hangout spot of the dolphins. Be amazed by their acrobatic spins and watch as they swim by your boat. After a couple of photo-ops with the dolphins, you will then head to Manjuyod Sandbar.
Upon docking on the island, you will be greeted by the long stretch of pristine white sand, appealing to nearly anyone who is craving for some vitamin sea. You will also notice the island’s simplicity, as the only structures seen here are the small cottages standing on poles in the sandbar and serving as the guests’ humble accommodations. The beach is very open for picnics and sunbathing, so feel free to lounge by the shoreline and enjoy the panoramic seascape in front of you. There are also plenty of vendors around the area selling seafood like seashells, oysters, sea urchins, and coconut.
Waste no time and make your every minute worth it on the sandbar before you make your way back to the mainland. Once you get back on the road, you will be stopping by Bongbong’s or Merci for some souvenir shopping.
