Discover all the adventures you can experience in the Philippines
Discover the idyllic beauty of Iloilo by visiting Islas de Gigantes in Carles with this island hopping tour. Perfect for beach lovers and first-time travelers in Iloilo, this island-hopping private tour includes entrance fees, private boat transfers, seafood lunch, and the services of a guide.
Your guide will meet you at Bancal Port Carles, where you will register at their Tourism Office. After filling out the forms, you will be taken to your private boat and begin traveling to your first destination of the day, Pulupandan Island.
The tiny Pulupandan Island is usually the first stop on the island-hopping tours that visit the Islas de Gigantes. The Pulupandan trees that used to cover the area are where the island got its name from. At high tide, the island is just 25 square meters. It is so small that you can walk from one end to the other in less than a minute. Take a dip and lounge in the area before moving to the most photographed spot in Gigantes, Cabugao Gamay Island.
Cabugao Gamay is one of the three small southern islands that make up the group of Islas de Gigantes. This island is very peaceful, and one of the things that make the island unique is its rock formation, which is covered in a lot of vegetation.
Afterward, you will visit Lantangan Beach, an unspoiled island with crystal clear waters. You will have your seafood lunch with unlimited rice and complimentary coffee here before moving on to Antonia Beach, famous for its white sand beach adorned by unique limestone boulders that protrude from the ground around it. Go snorkel and swim before heading to Bantigue Sandbar.
Best visited during the sunset, Bantigue Sandbar has powdery white sands set off by shallow waters, making it easy for travelers to swim all over the island. There are also some impressive rock formations that are perfect for photos.
Your last stop will be at Tangke Salt Water Lagoon. Also known as the Enchanted Lagoon and hailed as Iloilo's hidden paradise, the lagoon has refreshing shallow waters and beautiful rock formations. It's also one of the most popular places to visit in the province because of the mystery behind it. History says that water levels inside Tangke would rise dramatically, as if by magic, on June 24th, which is the feast of Saint John the Baptist, and that this would happen every year. Enjoy swimming and cliff-diving before heading back to the port.
