Once you’re picked up from your hotel in Laoag, you’ll be making your way to Anuplig Falls. Go for a hike to reach the top of this 12-meter high waterfall, which is the most visited compared with the other waterfalls in Adams. Surrounded by lush forests on either side, the two-layered Anuplig Falls cascades into an upper basin and a lower basin where you can swim in cool, blue-green waters.
Next, you’ll be trekking to get to the second fall in your itinerary, which is the Anat Falls. You can expect an easier and shorter hike coming to this 6-meter high natural waterfall.
For your succeeding stop, you’ll be refreshed by the cool waters of Bulu River or the Bolo River as others call it. This is the river in between Pagudpud and Bangui, with the source originating from the mountains near Adams before taking its 20-kilometer run out into the sea.
After having your fill of the Bulu River, it’s time to head to Lover’s Peak. Although it’s not the highest peak you can find in Ilocos Norte, this point nevertheless gives a mesmerizing, 360-degree view of the Tinamburan mountain ranges at the lower slopes of Cordillera. Take a moment to enjoy the beautiful mountain views that Lover’s Peak has to offer.
Adams has several hanging bridges, which will be the last leg of your itinerary. Navigating through one of these bridges should prove to be a major highlight before you conclude your trip to Adams.
