Have a fun-filled day swimming, snorkeling, and cliff jumping on a tropical island destination located just 6km away from Boracay - Magic Island. It is one of several sparsely inhabited islets near Boracay that is famous for its cliff diving platforms with varying heights. This half-day tour includes entrance fee to attractions and activities as well as a lunch meal of local dishes, with meet up point at the Astoria Hotel beach vicinity. This shared tour is an enjoyable outdoor water-based activity, so don’t forget to bring your swimsuits and reef-safe sunblock as added protection from the heat of the sun.
The crystal clear waters surrounding Magic Island is just as wonderful as the shores of Boracay, and nearby you’ll see colorful fish and reefs beneath the ocean. You can go snorkeling for a closer look at the rich marine life just off the shore of the island. While it’s a great spot for snorkeling and swimming, the biggest draw in Magic Island, however, are the cliff jumping platforms, where you get to choose how high or how low the jump will be. There are 5 diving heights, with the lowest diving board at 1m, and then gradually going up to 3m, 5m, 8m, and the highest platform at 10m.
There are lifeguards around to guide you and keep the jumpers safe, pulling swimmers back to the ladder after the jump. There are also life vests available for anyone needing an extra layer of protection, but the water is so clear that the bottom can be clearly seen from any vantage point. Compared to another famous diving spot, Ariel’s Point, the platforms at Magic Island are not as high, making it a great starting jump for cliff diving newbies.
Enjoy cliff jumping and lounging at Magic Island, and then head back to Boracay before the day ends. Planned over a comfortable 4 hours, this tour gives you ample time to make the most of your trip to Magic Island. Check availability by choosing a date.
