Get to know the rich cultural heritage of Baguio City on this full-day tour of the City of Pines. This tour is perfect for those who want to visit gardens, mansions, nature parks, cultural villages, and several tourist landmarks in one day. Hotel pick-up and drop-off, lunch at a local restaurant, and service of a guide are all included in this package.
You will be picked up at your Baguio City accommodation in the morning by your guide, where you will be heading straight to your first destination, the Baguio Botanical Garden. It is a picturesque green park with towering pine trees and blooming flora and fauna. While in here, you can take pictures of the scenery or rest for a bit before heading to your next destination.
You will proceed to The Mansion, the official summer residence of the President of the Philippines. Because of its historical significance, this is a must-see attraction in Baguio City. The building's architecture appears to be a mix of Spanish and American elements, and you may snap photos of the building's facade as your backdrop.
Next is Mines View Park, a well-known tourist ridge overlooking the stunning view of Baguio. While in here, you can eat, shop for souvenirs, rent full Cordillera clothing, and take a photo with the infamous Saint Bernard dog.
You will be going to Ibay’s Silver Shop next, known for their high-quality silver fashion jewelry. You can purchase some for your friends and family back home or buy one for yourself.
Afterward, you will visit Kennon Road View Deck, which gives you a stunning panoramic view of the city’s mountainous slope. The Lion's Head is a statue located on Kennon Road. The 40-foot monument was carved from natural limestone and has become an iconic symbol in Baguio, so taking pictures there is highly encouraged.
Your adventure continues at Baguio Museum, which showcases a detailed history of the city through paintings, artifacts, and miniature dioramas. While in here, you can learn more about their cultural beginnings and appreciate their art.
Afterward, you will go to Burnham Park where you can enjoy the scenery and try various activities like biking or renting a rowboat for a lake experience. You will also have your lunch at a local restaurant near the park.
After your lunch, you will proceed to the Diplomat Hotel, an abandoned structure often dubbed as a ‘haunted house’ overlooking Baguio City. Aside from some strange modern installations that have been placed inside to try to brighten up the place a little, the rooms remain vacant, which adds to its mysterious atmosphere.
Next on your list is the Easter Weaving Room, where you can witness real weavers make their native fabrics and traditional garments. You can purchase some of their wide-range hand-woven articles like tablecloths, baskets, fashion accessories and more on their sales floor.
Afterward, you will go to Tam-awan Village, an artist haven with an art gallery and life-sized Cordillera huts showcasing Baguio’s indigenous culture. You can enjoy the scenic views, hike around the village, have your portrait drawn by one of the village’s resident artists, and more.
Your last stop will be at La Trinidad Strawberry Farm where you can go strawberry picking. One of the perks of going here is when you harvest the strawberries yourself. There is also a lettuce plantation on the property. Strawberry taho and ice cream are also sold by vendors outside the farm. Enjoy the rest of this experience before your guide takes you back to your hotel.
