Learn how to surf during your vacation on the beautiful island of Siargao when you book this activity. This activity is perfect for those who want to try their hand at surfing, as it already includes a 25-minute lecture, one hour of surfing, the use of a surfboard, the assistance of a professional surf instructor, and a beginner's safety guide. You will also be given photos and videos taken during your lessons.
This activity can be booked any day from Friday to Sunday and will start at 3:30 PM. However, note that you need to be at the Ulap Siyam Surf School in Siargao Island by 3:15 PM at the latest. Once you get there, your professional surf instructor will meet you and brief you on what will happen during your lesson.
You will begin with a 25-minute surfing lecture. You will not only learn about surfing but also the science behind surfing principles. You can use your beginner's safety guide to help you understand the concepts quicker.
Once you are done with your lecture, you will head to the sand, where you will begin applying what you learned. With your board safely on the sand, you will learn the fundamentals of surfing, such as standing up and balancing. Once you are deemed ready by your instructor, you will try catching a wave and surfing in the waters of Siargao.
Don't worry if you don't get it right immediately, as it might take several tries before you are able to stand up and ride a wave successfully. When you do, take in the moment and celebrate, and then try again until your lesson is over. After your lesson, you may check out the photos and videos of your session that you may keep as mementos of your experience.

This is a shared activity. Minimum of 2 people for each surfing lesson.
Children Friendly: Yes! Children 6 years old and above are allowed to join the activity.
Pet Friendly: Yes!
Senior Citizen/PWD Friendly: Adults until 60 years old are allowed to join. This is a medium to extreme activity so we suggest to consult with your physician before proceeding with your booking.
Meet-up time is at 3:00-3:15pm Philippine Standard Time and the meet-up location is at Ulap Siyam Cafe, General Luna in Siargao Island. For pick-up and drop-off transfers please request in advance so our transfers operator may give you a quotation in advance and additional fee may apply.
The operator may cancel the tour in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund. Note that being late by 15-30 minutes without any advice is considered a no-show. Schedule cancellation requests must be made 1 week before your original, and it will be subject to approval.
