Description

Indulge in delicious Kapampangan food with this private culinary tour in the province of Pampanga. If you want to try some of the province’s most loved iconic dishes, this day tour is perfect for you as it will bring you to several famous eateries where you can try local delicacies. It also comes with free pick-up and drop-off from and to the city of Manila.

Your guide and driver will pick you up from your accommodations in Manila or at a designated meeting point in the morning. After you are picked up, you’ll head to Mexico, Pampanga. Your first stop will be Kusinang Matua ng Atching Lillian Borromeo. Lillian Borromeo is known for her Kapampangan recipes made the traditional way. During your visit, you will enjoy a Kapampangan breakfast and see a demonstration of how San Nicholas cookies are made using wooden molds that are at least a century old.

Your next stop is Kabigting’s Halo-Halo in the municipality of Arayat. Here, you’ll sample the famous halo-halo of this store which started in a garage with just a few tables. What makes their halo-halo unique is the inclusion of homemade pastillas.

Before lunch, you’ll visit Bale Batu, a house-turned-tourist attraction that looks like it came from Cambodia. Take some photos before heading to Gintung Pakpak Eco Park for lunch. You’ll enjoy a freshly cooked meal while enjoying the views at the Eco Park.

Your next stop is the Pampanga State Agricultural University, where one of the Philippines’ sweetest tamarind, the Aglibut Sweet Tamarind, was developed. The trees can be found all over the campus, and visitors may also buy seedlings.

Next, you’ll head to Old Town Ensaimada, where you can sample these buttery treats and buy some to take home with you. The facility can produce up to 1,000 ensaymadas a day, and if there is still time, you can tour it.

Your last stop is Lola Nor’s Meryendahan, where you’ll enjoy dinner and a food demo. Once you’ve had your fill, your driver will bring you back to Manila.

Feast on yummy food from Pampanga province when you go on this food tour. Check the availability by choosing a date.
