Embark on a culinary quest to taste the most flavorful eats Pangasinan has to offer. Known as a province of varied and delicious cuisine, Pangasinan will surely surprise you with its food highlights. So if you’re hungry for local food and adventure, make sure to get this tour booked.

Your air-conditioned transfer will be picking you up at the lobby of your hotel in Pangasinan. Skip breakfast or just have a light meal to make room for all the food you will eat for the day, starting off with the province’s famous Bangus (milkfish).

There are several ways to cook this fish, from fried to steamed. You will be taken to one of the restaurants in the area that serve this as their main specialty.

You will also be trying out a plateful of pigar-pigar. This local cuisine mixes beef strips and stir-fried cabbage in one dish. Most locals serve this quintessential meal at home, but the dish is often included in restaurant and food stall menus, as well. It is best paired with a cold glass of beer or soft drinks.

Along the way, you will be taken to another local restaurant serving a stew called kaleskes. This delicacy has a rich mix of beef innards, exemplifying the approach of local cooks to use everything that an animal has from its tail to its snout. It has a quirky but delicious taste for those not used to eating innards.

The colorful putong Calasiao is another delicacy you will be snacking on, as well. These steamed rice cakes come in various flavors, from ube to plain to mango and pandan. Take some home as pasalubong (souvenir) to your friends and loved ones. Before heading back to your hotel, you will stop by at the Bagoong Factory, where you'll learn about the process of creating fermented fish sauce, another Pangasinan delicacy.

Experience the Pangasinan culture as you try various dishes that define the province on this full-day culinary trip. Check availability by choosing a date.
