Relax at Dumaguete’s Pulangbato Falls and Red Rock Hotspring in this half-day private tour. Your tour package will entitle you to a complimentary lunch at Forest Camp, roundtrip hotel transfers, and entrance fees to your destinations. Swim your stress away at Dumaguete, also known as the City of Gentle People.
From your hotel in Dumaguete City, you’ll be going to Pulangbato Twin Waterfalls. The waterfalls got its name from the red rocks (pulang bato) that line one of the walls through which cool water flows. The sulfur deposits are what turns the rocks to red, but they don’t affect the safety of swimming in the waters. You’ll see the water turn clear with its continuous flow toward the river.
Your guide will then lead you to the nearby Red Rock Hot Spring. This hot spring has a small pool that contains warm sulfur water, which is drained every night so you know you’re bathing in clean, fresh water. The water is believed to have healing properties for common ailments like sinusitis, asthma, and arthritis, so feel free to take a therapeutic dip with the relaxing view of verdant forests and mountain ranges.
After about an hour’s stay here, you’ll be proceeding to Forest Camp for lunch. Forest Camp is a 2.5-hectare mountain resort that features natural wonders all around, such as forest trees, a river passing through the landscape, and fresh water pools. Set your camp by choosing your spot within the resort and eat your lunch with the beautiful sights and sounds of nature in the background. Brave the cold fresh water before your tour ends with a trip back to your hotel.
