Pagudpud Tour

The second day will be spent exploring the top scenic attractions of Pagudpud, known as the Boracay of the North.

After your hearty breakfast, you’ll hop into your private transfer and go to your first stop, Dos Hermanos Islands. According to local legends, these two small island-like rock formations surrounded by turquoise waters were once brothers who died and emerged as islands. Its name literally translates to “two brothers”.

The Dos Hermanos Islands are part of what is known as the Blue Lagoon, along with the next stop in your itinerary, the Bantay Abot Cave. This geological formation isn’t actually a cave but a rocky hill resulting from an earthquake. Its name means “a mountain with a hole”, which is the exact description of what Bantay Abot looks like. From afar, it looks like a giant green whale resting by the beach.

Your next stop is the scenic Patapat Viaduct that offers stunning views of the ocean. You’ll make a stop here to take pictures along the iconic road. The highlight of the trip to Pagudpud is your visit to the Bangui Windmills. You will also visit the Kapurpurawan Rock Formation, a majestic white-washed natural attraction fronting Bangui Bay formed thousands of years ago. It features beautiful waves and grooves on its walls that the waves of the ocean helped shape.

Last but not least on your Day 2 itinerary is Cape Bojeador Lighthouse in Burgos. First lit in the 1890s, the lighthouse is still active until today, signaling passing by ships at night.

Anuplig Falls is a 12-meter high cascade of gushing cool water with two basins for a refreshing dip. To get here, you need to trek for around an hour where you will pass by scenic views of nature in the rainforest trail. Aside from waterfalls, Adams also has multiple hanging bridges that you will visit next offering stunning views of the town.

Your next stop is the Lover’s Peak, where you will be treated to a 360-degree view of the mountains. It’s a famous spot for sunrise and sunset, especially for photographers. Accommodations in Ilocos Norte

North Beach Camp

It all began with an undeniable love for the sunset that stresses over the vast sea and clouds – as if an artist is mixing hues of red, orange, and yellow in his palette. In an excerpt from “The Little Prince” by Antoine de Saint Exupery, the curious but emphatic little prince said that when one is terribly sad, one loves the sunset. Maybe because sunsets serve as a quiet assurance that it will rise again the following day – just like how many of us rise again after a downfall. We all long for a place to rest – a haven, a temporary home, a refuge, a sanctuary. We are not built to work and worry about deadlines 24/7. Sometimes, in our quest to look for this seemingly elusive sanctuary, we find so much more than what we are looking for. In a hidden corner in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte lies a camp that in its simplicity, one finds a place to think, to rest, and to get away – the North Beach Camp.

Casa Consuelo

Casa Consuelo is the perfect tropical hideaway for people who marvel at the beauty of solitude while being surrounded by nature's most remarkable backdrops. The Cordillera mountains provide a lush and verdant scrim to a generous white beach that stretches out to the horizon on both ends. Sitting lazily to the left is Dos Hermanos island an easy trek from the beach high tide or low tide. The island is safe haven for marine life. The distinctive huts take inspiration from traditional Ilocano homes yet adopts the frills of a modern bathroom.

Panziann Beach and Mountain Resort

Pannzian Beach is steeped in history, and our family, the Ortegas, have been part of that history for hundreds of years, passing on a legacy of unspoiled natural beauty and strong community values. Pannzian Beach still evokes the same peaceful atmosphere since the 18th century. We believe in giving our guests the same warmth that we offer to our own family. At Pannzian Beach, we don’t have stern resort managers, we have hosts and guides that are excited to serve you a hearty breakfast and give you tips about the best spots to visit in and around the resort. Families with children of all ages will share the joys of simple, wholesome living in perfect harmony with nature. Pannzian Beach is a place that we call home. We want you to be a part of it.
