Discover all the adventures you can experience in the Philippines
Visit Boracay and join a PADI Discover Scuba Diving Course with this tour. The tour already comes with the use of basic scuba diving equipment (including a tank and weight belt) and the guidance of a divemaster, so you don't need to worry about pre-arranging them yourself.
This is perfect for those who already have a Boracay trip planned and want to make the most of it by booking activities to try. This class will allow you to just try diving with no pressure since it is not a certification course. You will, however, be given an idea of what you need to learn to be a PADI-certified diver. Those aged 10 and above can take part in this tour, and while no diving experience is required, all participants must be in good physical shape.
Before the actual dive, your instructor will first orient you on the basics and the dos and don'ts of scuba diving. This includes going over the equipment you will use, as well as other key skills you will need when you dive. After you have been briefed, your instructor will assist you as you go on your first dive in confined water, where you will learn how to move around with your gear underwater.
Once you are deemed ready by your instructor, you will dive off of a beach or from a dive boat. The location will depend on your instructor's assessment of your ability. The choices include Angol Point, Coral Garden, Balinghai, Friday's Rock, Punta Bunga, Yapak, Camia Wreck Dive, Tribird Wreck Dive, Laurel Island, and Crocodile Island.
In your open water dive, you will dive down to a maximum depth of 12 meters. Make the most of your dive and enjoy the experience of being close to different species of marine life.
Take part in a chill introductory diving course in Boracay when you book this tour. Check the availability by choosing a date.
The operator may cancel the activity in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund. Note that being late by 15-30 minutes without any advice is considered a no-show. Schedule cancellation requests must be made 48 hours before your original subject to approval.
