Hop on a boat and ride the waves as you make your way to two of Bohol's famous destinations — Balicasag Island and Virgin Island. This private tour is perfect for those seeking a vacation on a tropical paradise with a laid back atmosphere.
The day starts with your driver picking you up at your accommodation. You will then be brought to the Alona docking area, where your tour boat will be waiting for you. Once you don your life vests and settled in the boat, you will set sail to your first destination, the Dolphin playground. This is where dozens of dolphins typically hang out. Watch as they perform tricks for you and swim next to your boat as you pass by.
From there, you will be taken to Balicasag Island. This small island is considered a marine sanctuary. What makes it a popular dive spot is its crystalline water and thriving marine life. See colorful corals in various shapes and sizes, from flower-shaped to some that resemble brains and plants. Swim with a school of fish with stripes and all sorts of colors during your snorkeling adventure.
If you’re up for a more exciting time in the area, you can opt to go to the Turtle Point for an additional fee. Here, you can get a close encounter with the giant turtles and be given a chance to explore the caves in the site that run as deep as 60 to 75 meters. You will then be served with a sumptuous island lunch at the Balicasag Island Resort Restaurant before you head over to your next stop, Virgin Island Sand Bar.
Have a chill time walking on the powdery, white sand bar or take a dip into its turquoise waters to revitalize your body and wash off the sand. Afterward, you will make your way to the mainland of Isola di Francesco. The islet has been developed into a retreat. Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by the giant statue of St. Pio of Pietrelcina. There is also a museum called Nature’s Art Museum on the island that you could visit before you head back to Panglao.
Go on an island-hopping getaway during your trip to Bohol to experience its warm, azure waters and thriving marine life. Check availability by choosing a date.
