This advanced dive course is for divers with an open water dive certification and wants to advance their skills. To sign up, you must be at least 10 years old and in good physical health. You should also bring your open water dive certificate with you.
You will attend a short orientation for the course briefing. Then, your instructor will teach you different adventure dives like boat diving, drift diving, wreck diving, and night diving. You will strengthen your compass navigation skills and buoyancy as you explore beyond 60 feet.

Upon your arrival, you will be checking in at Crimson Mactan Resort, where you will stay for 5 days and 4 nights. You will prepare for the course briefing and orientation at 3 PM.
Crimson Mactan Resort is an exclusive 5-star beach resort overlooking the panoramic view of the Mactan sea. It features over 40 expansive villas with an outdoor jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room.
You can lounge on the resort’s private beach area that features a marine sanctuary and a 4-feet deep infinity pool with water aerobics. Mactan Shrine is only less than 4km away from the resort.
On Day 2, you will review your skills before taking your 1st adventure dive at 9 AM. Compared to your first open water diver course, the advanced dive course lets you experience different adventure dives. Your instructor will also help you discover your specialty.
Then, you will take your lunch break at 12 NN. Your 2nd adventure dive begins at 2 PM. By this time, you will be more comfortable going deeper. At 6:30 PM, you will take your night adventure dive. The light of your torch will allow you to see creatures that are hidden during the day.
For your third day, you will have your 4th and 5th adventure dives at 9 AM and 11 AM, respectively. At this point, you will demonstrate everything you’ve learned. Your instructor will also evaluate your skills and knowledge after you’ve accomplished all of your five adventure dives.
By this time, you should have already improved your compass navigation skills and buoyancy.
Then, you will proceed to the logbook and registration at 2 PM. After completing the course, you will receive your advanced diver certification from PADI. At 6:30 PM, you will head back to the resort to have dinner.
On your fourth day, you can get energized by taking a refreshing stroll or early morning jog along Crimson Mactan Resort’s exclusive beach. You can catch the sunrise and go for some laps at the expansive infinity pool.
Make the most of your free time by exploring Mactan’s nearby attractions. You can book add-on tours to visit the popular destinations in Cebu such as Mactan Shrine, Lapu-Lapu Monument, Alegre Guitar Factory, 10000 Roses Café, and Cebu Happy World Museum.
You can also go on an eco-adventure and island-hopping tour (add-on) to the breathtaking islands of Olango, Nalusuan, Pandanon, Caohagan, and Hilutungan.
